Mildred Rose Shaw, 71 of Chesterhill, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at 9:05 A.M. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013 at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born on November 19, 1941 in Corning, Ohio to the late Clarence and Jeanette Denune Eing. Rose was an active member of her community and loved by all. She had many careers including driving school bus for Morgan County School System. She also owned her own store and restaurant in Chesterhill and retired from Ohio University as a cook. She was Catholic by faith. She is survived by 3 sons, Danny (Chris) Snyder of Chesterhill, John (Debbie) Shaw of Malta and Wayne (Cindy) Shaw of Chesterhill, 1 daughter, Lynn (David) Creighton of Stockport, 1 brother, Donald Eing of Glouster, 3 sisters, Ilene (Harold) Snyder of Pataskala, Kathy (Tim) Smedley of Chesterhill and Janie (Mike) Totman of McConnelsville, numerous grand and great grandchildren, special friends Don and Jill Oliver of McConnelsville and many other friends and neighbors. She is preceded in death by her parents, loving husband of 45 years Ronald Shaw, 2 grandchildren Elizabeth Creighton and Denton Snyder and 1 brother Gilbert Eing. Services will be held on Thursday, January 17, 2013 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Ernest Eing officiating. Friends may call on, Wednesday, January 16, 2013 from 5-8 P.M. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Chesterhill Volunteer Fire Dept.
