Millie Anne Reed, 96, of McConnelsville, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, March, 22, 2020.  She was born on Feb. 17, 1924 in Newhall, West Virginia to the late William Henry and Rose Eva Lou Harrison Medley.  She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm.  She was a founding member of the Evangelical Methodist Church in Little Hocking and a founding member of the Pilgrim Bible Church in Malta.  A member of the WTCU and volunteered for many years at the Mark Rest Center in McConnelsville.  She is survived by 2 sons, John Paul Reed of Waterford and James Elliott Reed of Zanesville, 4 daughters, Sharon Peyton of Malta, Eleanor Lear of Dresden, Bertha Matheney of Lancaster and Mary Foreman of Washington, NC and a host of grand and great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul E. Reed, 2 brothers, Homer and Joseph and 3 sisters, Velma, Glendora and Hattie.  A private family only service will be held on Wednesday, March 25, 2020 at 12:00 P.M.  Burial will follow in the Malta Cemetery.  The family may arrive at the funeral home one hour prior to the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com
