Mitchell J. Goodnite, 63, of Hackney, passed away on Mon. June 27, 2022 at his residence.  He was born on Sept. 16, 1958 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Hubert and Eleanor Brower Goodnite.  He worked as a laborer out of Local Hall #530 in Zanesville.  He is survived by 2 sons, Anthony Richardi of Battle Creek, Mi and Matthew Goodnite of Hackney, 3 daughters, Michelle (Richard) Parmer of Zanesville, Marsha Jurczak of Coshocton and Marlena Goodnite of Zanesville, a brother, Michael Goodnite of Alabama, 2 sisters, Angela Young of Texas and Diane Goodnite of Hackney, 7 grandchildren, several nieces and nephews and his ex-wife and friend Lori "P" Goodnite of McConnelsville.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother Max Goodnite.  A caring cremation is taking place at his request and a memorial service will follow at a later time and date.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
