Mona B. Newton, 88, of McConnelsville, passed away on Thurs, May 5, 2022.  She was born on Aug. 25, 1933 in Roseville, Ohio to the late Raymond and Emma Thomas Dozer.  She was the owner of the Daisey Flower Shop in McConnelsville for many years and was the manger of the Opera House in McConnelsville.  She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Darrell Newton of the Home, 3 sons, Steve (Barbara) Robison of Pataskala, Terry (Kathy) Robison of McConnelsville and Kevin (Nancy) Robison of Kent, a daughter, Jody (Mike) Dille of McConnelsville, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, 1st husband, Glen Robison, a sister Kie Schinestuhl and a grandson Jona Dille.  Services will be held on Mon, May 9, 2022 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Malta Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the services.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
