Myrta Leona McGrew Rainer, age 87 of Stockport, Ohio, died at 3:52 p.m. Sunday, January 11, 2015 at her residence. She was born September 23, 1927 in Hermaine, Pa., a daughter of the late Charles W. and Elsie Sheets McGrew. She was a Homemaker and a member of the Stockport Church of Christ. Surviving are 4 sons: Charles(Pam McGowan)Staats of Galion, Roger(Pam)Rainer of Caldwell, Ron(Linda)Rainer of Beverly, and Randy(Tami)Rainer of Dexter City; 3 daughters: Judy(Rick)Baker of Caldwell, Karen(Kenny)Campbell of Reinersville, Marie(Greg)Marquis of Stockport; 17 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, 3 great,great grandchildren, 2 daughters-in-law: Donna Rainer of Beverly, and Sandy Staats of Bucyrus; 2 brothers: Richard (Muriel)McGrew of Chesterhill, Vic(Ann)McGrew of Bucyrus; 2 sisters: Leota Kraft of St. Claires Shore, MI, and Kay(Bruce)Hawkins of Ft. Myers, FL. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Alvin Rainer, 2 sons: Tom Staats and Claude Rainer, 3 grandsons, 1 great granddaughter, and 5 brothers. Services will be held on Thursday, January 15 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Evang. Rex McDonald officiating. Burial will be in the Dale Cemetery.
