Nancy A. Lawrence, 88, of Bartlett, passed away on Tues, Jan. 24, 2023 at her residence.  She was born on Jan. 24, 1935 in Sharpsburg, Ohio to the late Henry and Ida Ford Carothers.  She was a school bus driver for over 30 years for the Warren Local School District.  She attended the Chesterhill United Methodist Church and was a member of the Former Bartlett United Methodist Church. She loved to sew and quilt.  She was also a member of the Wesley Township Vol. Fire Dept. Ladies Aux.  She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Melvin Lawrence of the home, 2 sons, Mark (Benna) Lawrence of Amesville, Jeff (Cindy) Lawrence of Cutler, 3 daughters, Robin (Galen) Cox of Vincent, Jennifer Cramer of Carrolton and Teresa (Matthew) Law of Vincent, a sister, Sara Jane Lawrence of Mt Gilead, 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents.  A visitation will be held on Fri, Feb. 3, 2023 from 5-7 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with burial at a later date.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Amedisys Hospice 27855 St. Rt. 7 Marietta, Ohio 45750.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
