Naomi Jenkins Goins, age 74, of Kilvert, Ohio, passed away at 9:00 a.m. on Thursday, May 13, at her residence. She was born on March 6, 1936, a daughter of the late Lee T. and Leora Flowers Jenkins. She attended the Kilvert Church of God and retired in 2004 after 34 years as a custodian for Ohio University in Athens. She was a hard worker who squeezed in a lot of fun in her spare time. She is survived by 2 sons: Darrell (Bonnie) Jenkins of Kilvert; and Mark Goins of Athens, 2 daughters: Jan Tabler of Athens, and Sherry (Delmar) Walker of Kilvert, 10 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, 1 brother: Wilbert (Orpha) Jenkins of Chesterhill, and 2 sisters: Darlene Singer of Kilvert, and Carol Mayle of Chesterhill, and several nieces and nephews. Naomi was preceded in death by her Parents, 2 brothers: Bob and Lee; 4 sisters: Mary Jenkins, Mae Jenkins, June Hill, and Irene Jenkins; 1 grandson, and 1 great granddaughter. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 18, at 11:00 a.m. at the Kilvert Church with Rev. J.R. Walker officiating. Burial will be in the Kilvert Cemetery. Friends may call at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill from 6 to 9 p.m. on Monday and at the Church from 10:00 a.m. until service time.
