Nelda J. Pearce, 83, of 1220 Childs Lane McConnelsville passed away Friday October 19,2012 at 1:50 a.m. at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. She was born September 22,1929 in Perry County to the late Harm Green and Bessie Burton Green. Nelda was retired from Callender's Dry Cleaning of Hebron where she had worked as a manager. She is survived by two daughters Pamela Devaughn of Arcadia, Florida and Debroah Hill of Buckeye Lake, a son Bill (Dori) Hill of McConnelsville, 7 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, 3 sisters Miram Bookman of New Straitsville, Forest Bookman of McConnelsville, and Edra Clay of Logan. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband Ralph Hill and her second husband Robert Pearce, a sister Garnett Morgan and two brothers Tommy and Ivan Bennett. At Nelda's request there will be no services and a caring cremation will take place. Miller-Huck Funeral Home of McConnelsville is in charge of the arrangements.
