Chesterhill: Nellie Louise Armstrong, 90, of Malta , died Tuesday, July 28, 2009at 10:50 am, at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville. She was born May 27, 1919 in Sharpsburg to the late Robert A. and Maria E. Beard Grimes. She was a machinist at Cleveland Graphite in McConnelsville. She was a member of Marion Rebekah Lodge 785 in Chesterhill, and former member of Lacherie Petite Mothers Club, Good Neighbor Club and was an avid Bowler. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy and George Massey of Malta, Six grandchildren, Carma Harlow, Timi Bussey, Selena Lewellen, Valerie Wiggins, Tonya Mock, and Brian Massey, ten great grandchildren, Tori and Dari Harlow, Justin and Jarred Mock, Dominique Massey, Shayna Bussey, Pvt. Brody Wiggins, Lance Wiggins, Mariah and Makyla Lewellen. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Elza (Red) Armstrong (1976), one son Earl Tucker, one brother, Floyd Grimes, and two sisters, Emily Carpenter and Ella Quinn. Services will be held Friday, July 31, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday, July 30, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at the Funeral Home.
