Nellie J. Hambel Miller, 85, of Pennsville, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at the Genesis Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. She was born on Feb. 21, 1934 in Rosseau, Ohio to the late Delford and Jessie Starrett Hamble. She was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Jerry A. Miller of the home, 2 sons, Roy Miller of Middletown and Mathew (Cindy) Miller of Dublin, 2 daughters, Sharon Salem of North Canton and Sandra Miller of Vinton, 2 brothers, Lee and Kenneth Hambel both of Malta, 3 sisters, Ruth Scott of Travers City, Esther Wilson of Tulsa and Rosemary Solomon of Maryland and 9 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Susan Miller, 5 sisters, Irene Spencer, Inez Shepherd, Margaret Ball, Frances Shepard and Shirley Rhodes, 5 brothers, Harry, Joe, Art, Warren and Wayne Hambel. Services will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at 12:00 P. M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Wolf Creek Cemetery.
