Nels Jerry Quist, 67, of McConnelsville, died on Sat. Feb. 21, 2015 at his residence. He was born on March 24, 1947 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Edward and Joann Waddel Quist. He worked as a millwright and was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a member of the Stockport Webb Lodge #252. He is survived by his brother, Steve Quist of West Milton, Ohio. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Pat Quist and a sister, Susan Quist. Friends may call on the family on Weds, Feb. 25, 2015 from 5-7 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Masonic services will be held at 7 P.M.
