Nora Higginbotham, 92, of 659 Halcyon Ave., McConnelsville, died at 4:55 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, at the Riverside Country Care Center, McConnelsville.

She was born Aug. 17, 1918, in Seco, KY, a daughter of the late Ira and Olive Stanley Higginbotham.

Ms. Higginbotham was retired from Gould Inc. and attended the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville.

She is survived by one sister, Helen Groah of Mims, FL.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by four brothers and six sisters.

Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

A chapel service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, at the Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Chapel with Rev. Richard Baker officiating.
