Norma L. Copeland, 90, of McConnelsville, passed away on Fri, Nov. 21, 2025 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home.  She was born on Oct. 20, 1935 in Amesville, Ohio to the late Harmon and Garnett Keirns.  She worked for over 25 years driving the Book Bus for the Kate Love Simpson Library.  She was a faithful member of the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville for 63 years.  She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Donald Copeland of the home, 2 sons, Troy (Kristy) Copeland of McConnelsville and Trevor (Kara) Copeland of Portsmouth, daughter-in-law, Heather Copeland, 4 grandchildren, Cassie (Kyle), Shannon, Bella, Carson, 2 great grandchildren, Parker and Braxlee and several nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her parents, a son Tracy Copeland, 2 brothers, Gene and Carol Keirns, 2 sisters, Carolyn Wemer and Ada Pratt and a grandson Ronnie Boggs.  Services will be held on Weds, Nov. 26, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Malta Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Tues, Nov. 25 from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
