Nyle W. Sayers Jr., 68 of Chesterhill, died on Sunday, March 17, 2013 at 8:20 P.M. at the Riverside Landing Nursing Home in McConnelsville. He was born on October 29, 1944 in Chesterhill to the late Nyle W. and Jeannie Duncan Sayers. He was a member of the Operating Engineers and served his country in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He is survived by 3 brothers, John Sayers of Lacrosse, MN., Raymond Sayers of Chesterhill and Phillip Sayers of Groveport, 3 sisters, Jennie Preacher of Canton, Gayla Rexroad of Fleming and Janice Hamill of Chesterhill. He is preceded in death by his parents and 1 brother, Danny Sayers. Services will be held on Wednesday, March 20, 2013 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Charlie Simmons officiating. Burial will follow in the Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on the family one hour prior to the services on the day of the services.
