Ola Bell Almond Hector was born in Columbus, Ohio on October 6, 1952 to Peyton Sr. and Anna Mae Almond of Pataskala, OH. Ola was the youngest of ­five  children. She was a 1971 graduate of Licking Heights High School. Ola was a 1973 graduate of the Franklin Park Nursing School in Columbus, Ohio. She was an exceptional nurse and worked as an LPN for over thirty years before retiring from the Morgan County Community Action WIC program in 2010.  Ola was preceded in death by her faithful and loving husband of 40 years James Willie Hector ll; her parents, Peyton, Sr. and Anna Mae Almond; her sister Florence Person Caldwell; her brother Tony Almond; her special nephews Raymond Jones Jr. and David Person (who was one of her best friends and like a brother); Ola is survived by her daughters, Heather (Darrin) Hill of Malta and Felicia (Michael) Croston of Zanesville; her son, James Willie (Lisa) Hector lll of Pennsville; her step-son Anthony Viney of McConnelsville; her brothers Peyton Almond Jr. and Alfred (Lynn) Almond Sr.; her grandchildren, Brandon, Cora, Darrian, Adrain, Dahlia, Cameron, Jarrell, Andre, Ashton, and Avant; her great-grandchildren, Brantley, Bryson, Josiah, Ezekiel and Enzo; 20 step great / grandchildren; her best friend Beth Quinn of Stockport; many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.  Ola Bell Almond Hector left this life on 10/7/23. Ola will be missed and loved by all who knew her.
