Olive M. Wasson, 94 of McConnelsville, died Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at 5:30 A.M. at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. She was born on October 17, 1917 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late William and Mary Tharp Wisehart. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in McConnelsville. She is survived by two daughters, Mary and Ruth Wasson both of McConnelsville, and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Maurice W. Wasson, one brother, William Wisehart, and three sisters, Mary Denton, Ethel West, and Thelma Powell. A caring cremation is taking place at Olive's request and a memorial service at a later date and time. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements for the family.
