Opal Lucille Riley, 83 of McConnelsville, died on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville. She was born on November 28, 1931 in McConnelsville to the late John and Lucille Hill Marshall. She was a homemaker and a member of the Meigs Church of Christ. She is survived by 2 sons, Tony A. Riley of Goosecreek South Carolina and Troy J. Riley of McConnelsville, 4 daughters, Sandra J. Staats of Bucyrus, Shirley D. Wickham of Caldwell, Brenda G. Parmiter of McConnelsville and Joy E. Wickham of McConnelsville, 3 sisters, Dorothy Hopkins of McConnelsville, Christine Crawford of McConnelsville and Bonnie Hite of Malta, 19 grandchildren, Several great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, George William Riley, 3 sons, Robert, John and Terry Riley, 2 brothers, Tony and Eddie Marshall, 3 sisters, Eleanor Foster, Cleo Alcock and Virginia Gessel and 1 grandson Roy Staats. Services will be held on Monday, April 27, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville With Evang. Rex McDonald officiating. Burial will follow in the Malta Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Sunday, April 26 from 5-8 P.M.
