Patty Lou Davis, 69, of Pennsville passed away on Sunday, April 2, 2017 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville; She was born on Nov. 5, 1947 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Harmon Stotts and Mary Hartenstein Stotts Morris. She retired from the Bethesda Genesis Hospital where she worked in house cleaning and was a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ. She is survived by her husband Merlin N. Davis of the home, 2 sons, Michael R. (Christy) Davis of Hackney and John (Loretta) Davis of Pennsville, 1 daughter, Angela L. (Ted) Honeycutt of Hardy, Ark, 3 sisters, Ruth Potts of Zanesville, Sue Paisley of Zanesville and Jenny Love of Crooksville, 8 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers, Russell, Tom, Charlie, Frank and Jim Stotts and a grandson, Joshua Matthew Davis. A caring cremation is taking place at her wishes and a memorial service will be at a later date. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.
