Phillip W. Tyson, 68, of Beverly, passed away on Tues, June 25, 2024 at his residence.  He was born on Dec. 3, 1955 in Stockport, Oh, to the late Walter and Edith Thompson Tyson.  He worked as a lineman out of IEBW Local #71.  He is survived by a special friend, Diane Goodnite of the home, 4 daughters, Sabrina Penrose of Zanesville, Stephanie Parsons of Chesterhill, Lacy Morrow of Lowell and Shaa Morrow of Beverly, 2 brothers, David Tyson of Jacksonville, Fl, and Rusty Tyson of Athens, 2 sisters, Pat Stollar of Caldwell and Alice Tyson of Orlando, Fl and 7 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a son Warren Tyson.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation at his request.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
