Phyllis W. Mayle Phyllis W. Smith Mayle, 65, of Chesterhill, died at 1:05 p.m. Monday, July 6, 2009, at Camden-Clark Memorial Hospital in Parkersburg, WV.She was born July 1, 1944, in Amesville, to the late Wilburn and Margeret Warner Smith.Mrs. Mayle was a retired factory worker at Kardex Corp. of Marietta. She was a member of the Mt. Hermon Community Church, and the Marion Community and Recreation Center of Chesterhill.She is survived by one son, Rodney (Jennifer) Mayle of Chesterhill; two daughters, Tonya (Glen) Tabler of Chesterhill, and Shaunda (Todd Butcher) Mayle of Athens; two sisters Connie Mayle of Amesville and Ruth Ann (Robert) Williams of Columbus; and seven grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her step-father, Homer Mayle; one sister, Sharon Smith; and one brother, Wilburn Smith Jr.Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday, July 9, at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and one hour prior to the service at the church.Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, July 10, at the Mt. Hermon Community Church in Amesville, with Rev. Delbert Bennett officiating.Burial will be in Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
