Phyllis Marie Lucas, 68, of Albany, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 27, 2017 at the Hickory Creek Nursing Home in The Plains. She was born on Oct. 31, 1948 in Stewart, Ohio to the late Leslie Ray and Beulah Tabler Walker. She worked as a registered nursing aid at the Arcadia Nursing Home in Coolville. She is survived by 8 brothers, Junior Walker of Vincent, Johnny Walker of Athens, Rick Walker of Reynoldsburg, Don Walker of Stewart, David Walker of Athens, Marvin Walker of Kilvert, Phillip Walker of Stewart and Ivan Walker of Stewart, 3 sisters, Okema Lucas of Cutler, Pam Lucas of Stewart and Debbie Thomas of Stewart. She is preceded in death by her parents. A memorial service will be held at a later date and time. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
