Phyllis Lorene Holbert Nichols age 76 passed away at her home Thurs. Oct. 18, at 2:55 p.m. in Chesterhill, O. She was born Jan. 26, 1936 in Columbus,O.the daughter of Luther and Dorothy Singer Holbert. She was a case manager in Education & Training for the Athens County Dept. of Human Services and Protestant by faith. Surviving are 3 sons Greg Butcher of Chesterhill, O., Kevin(Vanessa) Butcher of San Diego, Cal. And James Nichols of Zanesville,O., 3 daughters Pam Parks of Columbus,O., Stephanie Nichols of Chesterhill,O. and Barbara Norris of Zanesville,O., 4 brothers David Holbert , Richard Holbert and Edwin"Butch" Norris all of Los Angeles,Cal. And James Holbert of Dallas, Texas, 15 grandchildren and 21 greatgrandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 1 son Clarence 2 brothers and 6 sisters. Funeral Services wil be Thurs. Oct. 25,at 11:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hermon Community Church Amesville,O. friends may call at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home Chesterhill,O. 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Weds. Oct. 24 and 1 hour prior to the service at the church.
