Ralph G. Strode 77, of Malta, passed away at 2:10 a.m. October 3, 2017  in McConnelsville.  He was born February 20, 1940 in Malta the son of the late Emerson Strode and Wilma Benjamin Strode. He was a farmer and a member of the Morgan County Coon Hunters. He is survived by his wife, Lois Roberts Strode, who he married June 21, 1964; daughters, Rebecca Schmucker of McConnelsville, Darcy Middy of Malta; son, Dwight Strode of Crooksville; nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren; two brothers, Richard Strode of Malta and Ray Strode of Georgia.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother, Stanley Strode and sisters, Joyce and Betty; half sister, Bessie. Friends may call 4 to 7 p.m. Friday, October 6, 2017 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held Saturday at 12:00 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. He will be laid to rest in Wiseman Cemetery near Malta.
