Randy G. Denney, 63 of Chesterhill, passed away on Weds. Oct. 19, 2016 at the O'Bleness Hospital in Athens. He was born on July 15, 1953 in Columbus to the late James L. and Patty L. Reams Denney. He was a retired steel worker and worked for Ohio Steel fabricators in Columbus. He attended the Church of Christ Christian Union in Columbus. He is survived by his wife, Sue McKenzie Denney of the home, 2 sons, Randy G. Denney Jr. and Wesley M. Denney both of Chesterhill,1 daughter, Tammy S. Rhoads of Plain City, 1 brother, Danny L. Denney of Chesterhill, 2 sisters, Caroline Lathan and Irene Giannini both of Columbus, 7 grandchildren and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother James L. Denney. Services will be held on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the services.
