Rebecca Fling Barnes Collins , 53, of Malta passed away Saturday April 21,2012 at 7:00 a.m. at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. She was born November 11,1958 in Centerburg, Ohio.

Rebecca was a 1977 graduate of Morgan High School and at the time of her death she was a student at Washington State in Marietta pursuing a degree in social work. She was a member of the McConnelsville Eagles Club and was also a member and very active in the Morgan County Civil War Reenactors Group.

She is survived by her parents Lucy and Bill Harmon of McConnelsville , two daughters Elizabeth Barnes of Loveland and Faith (Matt) McGrain of Pickerington; a son Joshua Collins of McConnelsville; three sisters Tracie (Troy) Wagoner of McConnelsville, Rhonda (Randy) Duskey of Hackney, and Teri (Orin) Palmer of Hachney; her father Kenneth Fling of Zanesville. She was preceded in death by her brother Robert Fling.

Calling hours will be Tuesday April 24,2012 from 2:00-4:00 & 6:00-8:00 p.m. at the McKrendree United Methodist Church where funeral services will be held Wednesday April 25, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. with Russ Harper officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her brother Robert in McKendree Cemetery.
