Rebecca S. Fowler, 54, of Malta, died on Sat. Nov. 16, at the Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville. She was born on Jan. 22, 1959 in Chesterhill to Clarence D. Mayle and Nida K. Goins. and worked as a State Tested Nurses Assistant. She is survived by her mother, Nida K. Goins of McConnelsville, 1 son, Eric Mayle of McConnelsville, 2 daughters, Stephanie Fowler and Latisha Fowler both of Zanesville, 3 brothers, Alan Mayle of Chesterhill, Herbie Mayle of Zanesville and Kevin Mayle of McConnelsville, 2 sisters, Kathy Pettit of McConnelsville and Missy Mayle of Malta and 9 grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father. Visitation will be held on Weds. Nov. 20, 2013 from 11-1:00 P.M. with a funeral following at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
