Rex O. "Bill" Tabler, 79, of Stewart, passed away Sat. Mar. 1, 2025 at the Laurels of Athens. He was born Oct. 30, 1945 to the late Emmett and Winnifred (Adams) Tabler in Chesterhill, OH. He was a member of Bethel Wesleyan Church and worked at Walmart in Athens. He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Rosa (Parsons) Tabler of the home; son, Rex Tabler of McConnelsville; 2 stepsons, Timothy Gibson of Stewart and Ryan Gibson of Dayton; stepdaughter, Dona Ward of Columbus; brother, Gail Tabler of Chesterhill; sisters, Elba Smith of Canton, Peggy Lucas of Guysville, and Rochelle Hill of Amesville; 13 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, son, Scott Tabler and brother, Bradley Tabler. Funeral service will be held Tues, Mar. 4, 2025 at 6:00 P.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
