Richard L. Ash 94, passed away at 1:28 a.m. July 25, 2021 with his family by his side. He was born June 30, 1927 in Stockport the son of the late, Charles Ash and Martha Patterson Ash. Richard retired from Globe Metalurgic in Beverly and was Church of Christ by faith. Richard married Virginia Cantwell Ash on October 22, 1947, they were blessed with eight children; Charles (Linda) Ash, Susan (Jerry) Swisher, Jim (Patti) Ash, Martha (Roger) Shuster, Kay (Dante) Offineer, Joe (Karen) Ash, Lila Ash File and Julie Ash; several grandchildren; and great grandchildren. In addition to his parents, and his wife, he was preceded in death by three sisters; and four brothers. Richard met the love of his life, Virginia while working in East Palestine, Ohio. Friends may call Thursday, July 29, 2021 from 11:00 a.m to 1:00 p.m. at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, a graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at Meigsville Cemetery.
