Richard Dick Haines 53, of 2651 Balderson Lane, Stockport, Ohio passed away Thursday at 8:11 a.m. at the Good Samartian Hospital in Zanesville following a motorcycle accident on St Rt 37 in Morgan County. He was born Feb. 2, 1956 in Beverly the son of Helen Ellison Haines and Ernest Bud Haines of McConnelsville. He was a custodian at the Roseville Elementary School in Roseville, girls head varsity basketball coach at Philo High School for seven years.He had coached at several levels for several years at the Morgan Local Schools. He was a member of the Clemitie Amitie Lodge F&AM of Reinersville, Tabor Ridge Church of Christ where he was baptized in 1975, also a member of Ohio Athletic Association District 12.In addition to his parents he is survived by his wife Rebecca Tuttle Haines, two daughters Missy (Brad) Clemens of Somerset, Audra (Kelby) Langerman of Malta, one son Randell (Alison) Ray Haines of Stockport. Three grandchildren Christopher Ray, Kendra Marie, and Kobe Dean Langerman, two brothers Randall Haines of Reinersville, and Ronnie Haines of Reinersville. He was preceded in death by one sister Debra Haines.Calling hours will be held Fron 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday , July 5, 2009 at the Tabor Ridge Church of Christ, 6727 Tabor Ridge Rd Stockport , Ohio , where services will be held at 11 :00a.m. Monday, July 6, 2009 with Dan Hickerson officiating. Masonic services will be held at 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the church. Burial will be on the family farm. Memorial contributions may be made to the Philo Varsity Girls Basketball Fund, c/o Marianne Dutro 2365 Greenhill Circle Zanesville, Ohio 43701 or the M&M Fire Dept. EMS 74 S. 4th Street McConnelsville, Ohio 43756. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling arrangements for the family.
