Richard L. VanHorn, 84, of Chesterhill, passed away Wed. April 15, 2026 at his residence. He was born March 27, 1942 to the late Donald and Mary Reed VanHorn in Montville, OH. He is survived by two sons, Todd and Carl VanHorn of Chesterhill; a sister, Sherry White of Beverly; a brother, Jay VanHorn of Chesterhill; 16 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary Ellen Dennis VanHorn; and daughter, Sheryl Mayle. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling a caring cremation for the family.
