Rick Lee Kirby Sr., 60, of Malta, died on Sunday Aug. 14, 2011 at 3:00 A.M. at the Good Samaritan Hospital. He was born on December 10, 1950 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Frank and Geraldine McGee Kirby. He was a carpenter and worked for Judson Home Moving of Malta. He was a member of the Rushing Wind Biker Church in Zanesville and served his country in the U.S. Army. He is survived by one son Rick (Lisa) Kirby Jr. of Zanesville, two, daughters, Tracey (Chad) Cooper of Malta, and Melanie (Jesse Connell) Kirby of Caldwell, one sister, Becky Wyatt of Zanesville, 9 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Services will be held on Friday, August 19, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Michael McGuire officiating. Burial will follow in the Zion Cemetery in Portersville. Friends may call on the family on Friday, August 19, 2011 from 11:30-1:00 P.M.
