Rick Allen Sayer, 46, of 832 Echo Street, Malta, went to be with his Lord at 4:10 p.m. Monday, Oct. 10, 2011 at his home in Malta.

He was born October 8,1965 in Athens, a son of Jack and Dixie Lewis Sayer.

Rick worked for Starr Engineering in New Lexington. He was an avid Dale Earnhart and NASCAR fan.

He is survived by his mother, Dixie Lewis Sayer of Malta; his father, Jack Sayer of Knox, IN; a brother, Mark Sayer of Indiana; a niece, Katy Sayer of Indiana; two uncles, Tommy Lewis of Laurelville and Randy Lewis of Columbus.

At Rick's request, a caring cremation will take place. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is in charge of the arrangements.
