Robin (Rob) Ewart passed away peacefully Tuesday, December 17, 2024 in The Woodlands, TX. He was born August 19, 1941 in Oswego, New York to the late William H. and Alyce Hill Ewart and was raised in Texas and California. He served in the U.S. Air Force from March of 1961 until he was honorably discharged in January of 1965. He attended Ohio University, graduating in June of 1968 with a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology and graduated from Xavier College with a Masters Degree in Criminology in 1970. He was employed by the Ohio Department of Parole and Probation for 33 plus years until he retired in 2002.
Rob was a member of American Legion Post #64 and a published author. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Carolyn Hughes Ewart; children Lisa Fouras (James) of The Woodlands, Texas; and Amy Sibbing (John) of The Woodlands, Texas. He is also survived by four grandchildren, Samuel, Caroline, Audrey and Jackson, his sister Mary (Mike) Heim of Vancouver, WA and in-laws Rosalind Moody; Tim (Becky) Woodward; Gary Woodward; and Nina (Jerry) Goins, as well as special nieces and nephews.
