Robert E. Bellville, 89, of McConnelsville, died on Sunday, July 19, 2015 at the Riverside Country Care Center in McConnelsville, Ohio. He was born on July 13, 1926 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Samuel "Okey" and Ruth Greene Bellville. He retired from the Central Ohio Coal Company where he worked as an oilier. He was a Member of the Corinthian Mason Lodge #111 in McConnelsville for over 61 years. He is survived by his four sons, Danny (Nancy) Bellville of McConnelsville, Bobby (Becky) Bellville of Jasper, Alabama, Sam (Shirley) Bellville of McConnelsville and Matt Bellville of Marietta, 9 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren and good friend John Gridley. He is preceded in death by his parents, Wife, Mary Ann Aber Bellville, 1 sister, Ilene, grandson Robbie and a great grandson Cohen. A memorial service with full Military honors will be held on Saturday, Aug. 22 2015 at 11:30 A.M. at the Church of Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville with Rev. Galen Finley officiating. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the M&M Vol. Fire Dept. in McConnelsville or the Strecker Cancer Center in Marietta.
