Robert Howard Bowman, 81 of Malta died Thursday, October 7 at 2:40 P.M. surrounded by his family at his home. He was born on October 23, 1928 in Stockport to the late Howard Bowman and Wilmadean Campbell Gray and was a retired truck driver. He is survived by his wife Jacqueline Adkins Bowman of the home, one daughter, Robin (Tom) Rothwell of Canal Winchester, three brothers, Jim Gray of Marion, Dick Gray of McConnelsville, and Jerry Gray of Newark, two sisters, Martha Wallace of Columbus and Nancy Arnold of Waterford, six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Marty, one brother Herb, and two sisters Sandy and Jo. No services will be held at Bob's request and in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in his name.
