Robert "Bobby" Potteiger, 63 of Malta, passed away in the comfort of his home on Friday, July 28, 2023. Bobby was a devoted employee to Miba Bearings for over 20 years. He loved the outdoors, riding on his motorcycle and off-roading in his side by side. Bobby enjoyed spending time with friends and family, making everyone around him laugh. In the past Bobby wore many hats. He served in the M&M Volunteer Fire Department, participated in Civil War Reenactments, was a former member of SEO Sinners N Saints, Inc. and entertained crowds during the weekend Murder Mystery at Burr Oak Lodge. He was an exceptional artist ranging from pencil sketches to full color oil based paintings. He will always be remembered for his sense of humor and natural ability to lighten the room wherever he was present. He is survived by his daughters, Jennifer (Tommy) Lichtner, and McKenzie (Brandon) Potteiger. His beloved sister Sylvia (Joe) Norris, special niece Melanie Quinn and granddaughters Amelia and Caroline Lichtner. Bobby was also expecting his first grandson in August and was excited to meet him. Bobby is preceded in death by his father Robert Potteiger, mother Alda Potteiger and brother Bill Potteiger.
