Robert D. Dildine, 66, of Malta, passed away on Sun. July 4, 2021 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville.  He was born on July 20, 1954 in Carroll, Ohio to the late Clarence and Lena Romine Dildine.  He served his country in the U. S. Army and worked as a metal fabricator for United McGill in Columbus.  He is survived by 3 sons, Craig Dildine of McConnelsville, John (Deanna) Carter of Lancaster and Travis (Chasilyn) Carter of Lancaster, 2 daughters, Misti (Grant) Wymer of Malta and Patricia (Stacey LeMasters) of McConnelsville, a brother, Greg Dildine of McConnelsville, 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a brother Clarence "Buddy" Dildine and a sister, Vicky Smith.  A celebration of life service will be held on Saturday, July 17, 2021 from 10-12 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
