Robert W. Ewing 85, of Beverly, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away at 11:17 p.m. November 11, 2022 at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. He was born Feb. 7, 1937 in Cleveland the son of the late, Edward Ewing and Grace Harrison Ewing. He was a retired mechanical engineer and a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville and was a member and Past Grand Knight of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren in their various sporting events. He is survived by his wife, Mary Eileen Molina Ewing; children Ed (Shirley) Ewing, John (Pam) Ewing, Jeanne (Jeremy) Plybon, Rob (Stephanie) Ewing, and Brian (Kim) Ewing; twelve grandchildren; and 21 great grand children; one brother, Tom (Ruth) Ewing. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters, Joan Fredrickson and Ann Burns; brother in law, Paul Burns. Friends may call 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 15, 2022 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 16, 2022 at St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville with Father Tim Kozack as celebrant.
