Robert G. Fisher, 65 of Malta, died on Sunday, April 12, 2015 at his residence. He was born on August 6, 1949 in Hackney, Ohio to the late Floyd L. and Lena M. Quimby Fisher. He retired from Malta Manufacturing in Malta where he worked as the Transportation and Shipping Supervisor. He is survived by his wife Jackie A. Fisher of the home, 1 son, Jason and Missy Fisher of Malta, 2 daughters, Jodi and Chad Greuey of Malta and Jatina and Jake Nichols of Malta, 2 brothers, Raymond and Madeline Fisher of Malta and Rodney Fisher of Black Lick, Ohio, 3 sisters, Ruth Buechner of Columbus, Maxine Rounds of Marietta and Donna and Randy Powell of Belpre and 5 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 daughter, Misty Lynn Fisher, 3 brothers, Dale, Floyd and Charles Fisher, 3 sisters, Mary Buechner, Charlene Fisher and Martha Fisher Smith and a grandson, Lane Nichols. Services will be held on Thursday, April 16, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Malta Bible Church in Malta with Pastor Mike Wells officiating. Burial will follow in the Anderson Cemetery near Malta. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.
