Robert L. Jones, 63, of Malta, passed away on Sun, July 12, 2026 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born on Sept. 30, 1962 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Gary and Ethel Watts Jones. He worked for over 26 years as a machinist at Miba Corp. in McConnelsville. He is survived by his wife Christy Novaria Jones of the Home, 2 sons, Derek (Kim) Jones of McConnelsville and Dusty Jones of Malta, a daughter, Devan (Ryan Strode) Jones of Malta and 4 grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and a sister Kim Tucker. Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation for the family.
