Robert (Bob) L. Skinner, 73, of Amesville, passed away Mar. 10, 2025 at O'Bleness Hospital. He was born Dec. 22, 1951 to the late Lawrence and Marion Hillyer Skinner in Athens, OH. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and teaching his kids and grandkids about the outdoors. He is survived by his wife, June Ward Skinner of Amesville; a son, William (Kelsey) Lee of Copperas Cove, TX; 2 daughters, Amanda Lee of McAurther and Alisha (Aaron McVey) Skinner of Stewart; 2 sisters, Copper Skinner of Athens and Barb Skinner of Amesville; 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, and his dog and best friend, Chester, and a special thank you to Ben Kassler. He is preceded in death by his parents, daughter Angela Graham, 2 brothers, Wayne and Roger Skinner, and sister, Sandy McNally.  Funeral service will be held Fri. Mar. 14, 2025 at 11:00 A.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill burial to follow at Federal Valley Cemetery in Amesville. Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to services.
