Robert C. Snodgrass, 93 of Malta, passed away on July 3, 2017 at his residence. He was born on February 6, 1924 in Sandyville W. Va. To the late James L. and Georgeianna Sayre Snodgrass. He proudly served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army and worked as a hydro press operator for General Electric in Euclid, Ohio. He was a member of the American Legion Post 24 in McConnelsville, the VFW Post 4713 in Malta, D.A.V. and Purple Heart Ass. He is survived by his wife, Emma Jean Patterson Snodgrass of the home, a daughter, Karen (David) Nichols of Pickerington and 4 grandchildren, Ryan and Aaron Nichols and Rachel Petty and Rebecca DiFrango. He is preceded in death by his parents, 2 brothers, James and Bill Snodgrass and a sister, Rosetta Collins. Services will be held on Friday, July 14, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Bailey Ridge Cemetery with full Military Services. Friends may call on the family from 11:30-1:00 P.M. on the day of the funeral.
