Roger D. Guinn, 66, of Stockport, passed away on Tues, May 18, 2021 at his residence.  He was born on Dec. 27, 1954 in Parkersburg to Vernon and Doris Sellers Guinn.  He was an operator for AEP, Ohio Power Muskingum River Beverly Plant.  He was a U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the Beverly American Legion Post #389.  He is survived by his mother, Doris Guinn of Stockport, his wife of 42 years, Debra Huggins Guinn of the home, 2 sons, Chase (Jenna) Guinn of Pennsville and Barrett Guinn of Stockport, 2 brothers, Greg (Kitty) Guinn of Stockport and Charles (Beth) Guinn of Stockport, 3 sisters, Judy (Lloyd) Smith of Bellville, W.Va., Dedra (Rick) Smith of Stockport and Rhonda Moore of Stockport and 4 grandchildren.  He is preceded in death by his father.  A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2021 at 12:00 Noon at the Oakland Cemetery near Stockport.  Friends and family will gather at Deb's house following the services.  Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
