Roger D. Mayle, 77, of Malta, passed away Thurs. July 7, 2022 at his residence. He was born on November 19, 1944 to the late William Mayle and Sarah Faye Mayle in Amesville, Ohio.  He retired from Shelly and Sands in Zanesville, Ohio and was a lifetime member of the Operating Engineers Local #18. He was an avid car collector and enjoyed attending car shows and traveling.  He is preceded in death by his wife, Stacy Croston Mayle, brothers, Julius Mayle, Arlis Mayle, Luther Mayle, Wayne Mayle, Richard Mayle, and sister, Chaney Fischer. He is survived by sister, Patricia (Lee) Miller of Bartlett, and many nieces and nephews, and special nephew Donnie Mayle. The family would like to thank Buckeye Hospice for all their care. Funeral services will be Monday, July 11, 2022 at 1 P.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, Ohio with Pastor Rich Lemal officiating, and burial following at Chesterhill Cemetery.
