Roger E. Pidcock 92, of Stockport, passed away October 16, 2021 at Highland Oaks Health Center. He was born December 26, 1928, the son of the late Herbert and Sarah Pidcock of New Marshfield. He was a US Army Veteran and was stationed in Korea. He married the love of his life, Helen Kryst, on May 25, 1956 and began working at Ohio University that same year. He retired from OU heating plant in May 1985, after 29 years of service.Following retirement , he and Helen spent more than 20 years winters in Florida, a place they both enjoyed, always returning to their farm in the spring where they loved working in their huge garden. Roger was preceded in death by his wife, Helen in 2011, his parents, brothers Martin and Cecil Pidcock, sisters, Edna Holland, Audrey Chesser and Reba McMann. A graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Stockport Cemetery  with military rites by the American Legion Post 24 Honor Guard. Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville is entrusted with arrangements.Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Meals on Wheels Program.
