Roger (Spank) Lyle Zumbro, 59, of Avon , Indiana passed away June 23, 2009. He was a Pilot for Duke Energy. He belonged to F.O.E. of Plainfield, IN., Webb Masonic Lodge #252 F & A.M. Stockport Ohio, Scottish Rite, Airline Pilots Association, Kingsway Christian Church and the National Rifle Association. Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Vincent Hospice. Surviving is his wife, Barbara J. (Wilson) Zumbro, Brothers, Tim and Dan Zumbro, Sisters, Diane Harrison, Linda Reinstetle, Ellie Lawrence. He was preceded in death by parents, Clair and Lenice (Bachelor) Zumbro and a brother, Mark Zumbro. Services will be 10 am Saturday, June 27, 2009 at Conkle Funeral Home-Avon Chapel-Avon IN, with visitation 4-8pm Friday, June 26, 2009 at Conkle Funeral Home-Avon.
