Roger W. Spencer, 73, of Stockport, passed away on Tues, Oct. 14, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on March 31, 1952 in Zanesville, Ohio to the late Oran and Marjorie Gheen Spencer.  He worked for over 45 years driving truck for many companies before retiring from New Century Trucking.  Roger loved to work on old cars and was also an avid collector of old cars.  He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Connie Moore Spencer of the home, a son, Jason (Colleen) Spencer of Stockport, a brother, Ronald (Lois) Spencer of Belpre, a sister, Donna Work of Belpre, 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild on the way.  He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Nichole Coleman, a brother Larry Spencer and a sister, Charlene Zumbro.   Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation for the family. A Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:30 PM at the Stockport Mill, located at 1995 Broadway St, Stockport, OH. All classic car owners are invited to bring their vehicles to join in celebrating Roger's life.
