Rollin G. Norris, 81, of Malta, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 26, 2017 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. He was born on April 21, 1935 in Malta to the late Gail and Norma Clayton Norris. He was a laborer for the New Tech Oil Company and love being a block layer for Hayward "Rabbit" Goins. He is survived by his significant other Mary Norman of the home, 1 step-son, Brian Norris of Columbus, 1 brother, Keith Norris of Portland, Oregon, 3 sisters, Joann Franklin of California, Joyce Norris of Arizona and Mary Mayle of Malta, 7 grand children and several great and great great grand children, several aunts, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 son Gail Norris, 3 daughters, Debra Smith, Yvonne Hutson and Paula Longhorn. Services will be held on Weds, Feb. 1, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery near Amesville. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2017 from 5-7 P.M.
