Roma Lee Greathouse, 78, of 902 N. Main Street, Malta, died at 4 p.m. Monday, Sept. 6, 2010, at Genesis Health & Rehab in McConnelsville.

She was born Dec. 30, 1931, in Wileyville, WV, a daughter of the late Joseph and Ida Sophia Brewer Greathouse.

Ms. Greathouse worked at Essex Wire in Zanesville and was retired from Malta Manufacturing.

She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by sisters, Mary Sabo, Ola June Gump, Virginia Louise White, Rose Greathouse, and Estil Newsom; brothers, Simon, Gerald, Earl, Donald, James, and Robert Greathouse.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 10, at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, at Malta Cemetery with Pastor Timothy Monteith officiating.
