Obituary

Ronald Dee Ray, 64, of 1231 N. Main St., Malta, passed away at 1:30 a.m. Wednesday July 4,2012 at his home.

He was born August 30, 1947 in Zanesville. Dee was a 1965 graduate of M. & M. High School and was the owner and operator of Dee's Body Shop in McConnelsville for 25 years. He was a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War and was a member of the Corinthian Lodge #111 F. & A.M. of McConnelsville where he served as master for 4 terms. He was also a 32nd degree member of the Scottish Rite Valley Of Cambridge. Dee was a member of the American Legion Post # 24 and the Kustom Kemps Car Club.

He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Martha Eddleblute Ray; his mother, Mary Johnson Ray of McConnelsville; a son, Chris (Kathy) Eddleblute of McConnelsville, a daughter, Robin (Ron) Hardesty of McConnelsville; a sister, Cheryl (Roger) Sands of McConnelsville; five grandchildren, Briah (Kent) Stone, Ryan and Travis Eddleblute, Braden and Bryk Hardesty; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Ronald Ray; and two brothers, John Ray and Tracey Buck Ray.

Calling hours will be Friday, July 6,2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller - Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be Held Saturday, July 7, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. He will be laid to rest in McConnelsville Cemetery. A masonic service will be held at 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and military honors will be conducted by the Morgan County Veterans.
